Its Friday Already!?!?

Can you believe it's Friday all over again?? The days are just passing by so damned fast! Felt like it was just last week we ushered in the new year and what do you know, before I could even catch my breath it's already the middle of May! Whoah!!

So what are your plans for today? Anything special planned for the weekend? A night out celebrating the end of the work week maybe? Or maybe a nice weekend getaway?

As for me, well as usual, I have absolutely nothing planned! Ahahahahahah. I don't have much of a life these days and no, I'm not going to go into details about why I don't have much of  life. We'll save that story for another day.

I actually like Fridays. Most Fridays my good friend Anita would come by my house and have lunch with me. Sometimes when I feel up to it we would go out to eat but mostly we just eat at my place. It's nice to have company once in a while.

I rather enjoy my Friday lunch dates. It gives me something to look forward to (spoken like a true no life-er). I find figuring out what to cook and trying to get all my cooking done before Anita arrives rather exciting (yes, I know I sound pathetic but just try and humor me alright).

Cooking and entertaining have always been a passion of mine. I remember the dinner parties I used to host when I was living on my own back in my student days in good ol' KL. Most Sunday nights I would gather some of my closest friends and treat them to a hearty home cooked meal (Sarawakian style of course).

Ahh.. those were the days, the joys of being young and care free. Well, enough reminiscing. I need to go dig around in the fridge and figure out what to cook for lunch. It is now 7.20am I have just over four hours to investigate my ingredients and come up with a menu so sayonara!
